At d3 we are truly heartbroken by the catostrophic bushfires that currently engulf our beautiful country. It is hard to watch the footage of so much devastation and grief. We feel for all those affected by these tragic events, and will provide support as best we can from our safe haven. We are also incredibly proud of all the brave souls that volunteer to protect and serve others. These men and women are true heroes through their selfless acts. ⁠ ⁠ There has been much talk about the contributing factors to these castastrophic fire conditions and the political debate will be ongoing. It is increasingly difficult to deny the reality of climate change and global warming as one of the major contributors. Climate change is real and we need to make changes immediately if we are to turn things around.⁠ Our building and construction industries currently contribute approximately 38% of the total carbon emissions into our atmosphere. This is huge and unacceptable.
